About

Chantel Paterson (Tilly)

"For over 20 years I have been a student to the horse. I have a deep passion for equine physiology, specifically anatomy and kinesiology. This results in consistently upgrading education to better understand our horse's and how I can maximize their unique biomechanical performance. My goal is to improve your horse's quality of life and performance while creating a safe healing space for the physical and emotional being. "

"Chantel came out in the middle of the 2021 Wildfire season with zero notice to give our horses a complimentary session and keep them feeling their best for the important work they are doing for us. If you’re wanting body work done on your faithful ponies, please give Chantel a shout!"

"I have two mares that have had significant injuries so I asked Tilly if she could assess and treat them. I wasn't sure if she would being how complex the injuries were but she accepted the challenge.

For the first visit Tilly took the time to do a comprehensive history and assessment of each horse. She is very knowledgeable in equine anatomy and physiology. She explains the technique she is applying during the treatment and which muscle, joint, body part she is targeting. She also took the time to answer my questions along the way.

I also had Tilly do a nutritional consult on one of my mares. Tilly is very knowledgeable in homeopathy and supplements for horses. She put the time and effort into making a nutritional plan with goals, intention and explaining suggested feed, duration of feed and what each supplement is and how it works. She clearly invested a lot of time and energy into creating this narrative.

Tilly keeps in touch regularly checking on the mares. If I have a question she is always available. We have had a subsequent visit in which she provided exercises to help each horse in their recovery. We plan to book regular visits in the future.

As an experienced horsewoman , Tilly has a great understanding of the horse/human connection. She is very passionate about making the horses feel the best they possibly can and her holistic approach to horse treatments is very reassuring that I am giving my mares the best possible care."

"I am so lucky to have met Tilly through her equine bodywork. She has made a significant impact on the overall well being of my two horses. She takes all aspects into consideration - feet, nutrition, body, emotions, living conditions, etc. Because of her thorough evaluations, she picks up on every little detail. My horses have made significant improvements from her care and expertise. She has given me hope when I had little left and now both my horses are thriving. I have never met a better advocate of the horse. She truly puts her whole heart into her work and the horses love her! The equine community as a whole is so blessed to have as great of a equine specialist as Tilly. She leaves an everlasting impact on horses and their humans wherever she goes!"
