Our Story

135893130_2969358319958712_5025323792821201096_n.jpg

My name is Chantel Paterson [[Tilly]] and I am a life long student to the horse. I am a passionate healer with an alternative approach and I am dedicated to helping horses move through a wide range of physical, emotional and spiritual transitions in the most efficient and transformative way possible. I love empowering horses and owners to better understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts.

I grew up around horses ever since I could remember and have dedicated countless time and energy into the holistic health of the horse. I've spent the majority of my upbringing starting young horses, rehabilitating rescue horses and challenging modern mainstream philosophies. While my business is still young, I have been practising this way of horsemanship for decades before bringing it forward into the public. I resonate deeply with the bridle horse combined with classical dressage, only once I have established a strong, true and secure relationship with the horse. Over the years of training, I started to see common patterns, plateauing performances and pesky mild symptoms that were easily missed in the day to day life. Somewhere along the way, there was a perspective change and I knew our horse's needed an advocate. Someone who could bridge the communication together and bring horse and owner even closer.

The journey truly began with understanding the horse's physical body, recognizing discomfort and dis-ease, and beginning with just helping horse's facilitate their own healing journey. As a perfectionist and an absolute horse nerd, I couldn't help but continue to feel like pieces were missing. I started turning to the horses for answers, more specifically I turned to my soul mate. A black mustang whose legacy will easily outlive my own. He gifted me with lessons in self reflection and self awareness that would really level up this business and change horse's and owner's lives permanently nationwide. The answer was simply in my day to day life with all the years of experiences combined into a beautiful whole horse way of life. True potential could not be reached until we combined the entire lifestyle; bodywork to ensure comfort and function, nutrition to support strength and health, and lastly a perspective of exercise that surrounds our horse's needs - not ours.
